This past weekend we had Davis, Bailey and Becca spend the night. Becca had some business to take care of, so we had Davis and Bailey Saturday afternoon.
It was really hot, so we did things inside this weekend. Went to the mall and let the kids play in the play area downstairs. They had fun. They also got to ride the carousel a few times. That was good too.
At the mall, they had a small train that drove through the halls of the mall on the bottom floor. We rode on that as well. Davis was not quite sure about the train. When he heard it coming he would run and look, but as it got closer, he backed away. He rode it without any trouble.
We hit Target for toys too. It was Davis's birthday this past week so we had to get some birthday presents. As soon as we got in to the toy department, Davis found a big plastic dump truck, lifted up the back part and sat down to ride the dump truck. We had to convince him to select a different toy and boy did he find something else!!
He found a plane from the movie Planes and it was something else. He could sit on it and ride it, but the propeller went around, had lights on it and the controls had all kinds of buttons for noise, flashing lights, etc. He was totally consumed with the plane for the rest of the night. It was pretty cool.
Good thing that toy is going home!!!

July 4th, 2014
For the 4th of July this year, we decided to get together as much family as possible. We got tickets to the Stadium of Fire with Carrie Underwood. We did a bbq at my house before the fireworks and we had a great weekend.
Jan came from Chicago for the weekend.
Musingi's came down on Thursday and stayed until Saturday.
Pat and her family came down Friday afternoon for the bbq and Stadium of Fire.
Pat had all her kids, in-laws, outlaws and grandkids at our house and at Stadium of Fire.
Took Musingi kids swimming Thursday afternoon.
Myka was the only one who let me take her picture.
Got a couple pictures of the kids at the Stadium of Fire.
The best picture has to be the selfie that Jordan and Kortnie took of their family and posted on Facebook. The guy behind Korntie is a really good friend of mine from the Utah Highway Patrol. I talked to him the next day to make sure that was him at Stadium of Fire. It was. Small world!!
