More from helicopter ride!!!

Twin Falls Idaho Temple, from the helicopter.

My sister Pat's house.....Murtaugh, Idaho - - - ya hoo!!!

The farm!!!  Lots and lots of fields.

Do you trust your son-in-law???

My sister Pat with her daughter Jessica.

Jessica's husband Jake is learning to fly helicopters.  He could take "guests" with him on his training run today.  Pat and Jessica went along.  Jake picked them up at the house.  He landed in Pat's back yard, on the farm and they took a tour of Idaho.

Jessica sent me these two pictures.  Going to borrow more from her Facebook page to post here.

Finished!! Finally....

The cabinet maker just left and we now have a vanity with drawers and everything is working again.  What a long process between plumbers, sheet rock, carbinet maker, painters, and marble countertop.  It's a great finish and upgrade from the old vanity with one sink, 6 inch white tiles and oak finish.

Almost Done!!

A couple months ago, we discovered a water leak in the vanity in the master bathroom.  Went downstairs and the leak had gone through the floors and damaged the sheetrock in the mother-in-law apartment.

So for the next few months, we have had repairmen in and out of the house.  Plumbers to fix the leak, sheetrock guys to replace the sheetrock, painters to repaint the ceiling downstairs, new vanity installed in Master Bedroom, etc.

The old vanity had one sink and the white 6" tile for the counter top, so when we needed to replace the vanity, we did upgrades.

Put in two sinks, with single handle controls, marble counter top and new vanity.  Just need the draws finished and installed and we will be done.

Well almost....now we need to replace the handles in the shower and jet tub so they are all the same finish.

It never ends......

New Toy!! Dust Collector

This beauty is a 3 HP Grizzly Cyclone dust collector.  We bought this around Christmas time and it has been sitting in my shop since then.  Needless to say, it came in many, many boxes.  Finally got the stand and the main part put together on Saturday.  The instructions say to assemble the stand, lay it down and then build the main part; the motor, and all the other stuff, laying down.  Then grab all able bodied men to help stand it up.  Scott and I tried and tried to stand it up.  Finally called in the neighbors, 6 of them!!!  We got it stood up, then moved to where I wanted it.

A little to the left, a little to the right.  Pull it out from the wall a bit.

Now comes all the fun stuff of connecting all the big saw dust producers to the dust collector.  The pipe below is a treasure I found on KSL Classifieds.  A woodshop was closing and this guy was getting rid of his Norfab pipe.  Paid $200 for what I bought.  He said it was worth over $2,000.  Got a pretty good deal.

The Norfab pipe was sitting in the corner of the shop since I built the shop, so it's nice to get that out and cleared out of the way to get the dust collector set up and going.
