We left on Thursday, July 19th for points west. Scott, his mom Louise who lives with us and her sister Maurine went with us. They both love baseball, so we headed to some San Francisco Giants baseball games and vacation.
First stop was in Carson City to see my mom, who is 88 years old. She has macular degenderation, so she lives in an Assisted Living Center. She is doing well and still relatively health.
Next stop was Yosemite National Park. What an incredibly beautiful place. Hit all the spots, the dome, saw several water falls, lots of trees, mountains and water. It was beautiful!!
Finally hit San Francisco on Sunday, July 22nd. Took lots of pictures at the Golden Gate and spots around there. Went to the gift store and visitor's center for Golden Gate. Went to the Marin County side of the bridge and took a ton of pictures from the military batteries that are still in the halls across the bay. In my next post will put some incredible pictures I took at the visitor's center for the Golden Gate Bridge. Have never seen anything quite like this.
Saw the Giants play three games against the San Diego Padres and one game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Had great seats and the weather was not too bad. Our seats were up under the 2nd balacony, so we were protected from the wind and San Fran weather.
Our hotel was in Half Moon Bay and this lighthouse, Pigeon Point Light house, was very close to the hotel.
