Outside project, weather permitting....

It's spring and the weather has been so unpredictable.  I have two huge flower beds in my front yard.  One is raised with the large landscape blocks and it looks awesome.

The other flower bed only had the small, little scalloped blocks and they did not match the other flower bed and they looked aweful.

This spring, I bought a new little tiller for the flower beds and the "small" garden spot and I just love it.  Cut back all the trees and bushes in the flower bed and tillled up the flower bed.

Removed those aweful scalloped blocks and I am in the process of "creating" a raised flower bed on the other side of the yard.  I started at the lowest spot, because the yard is sloped, and started laying out the blocks.

They are super heavy and Scott can't lift that much weight yet, so I am going slow.  Hauled 24 blocks last weekend and got them all set, leveled front to back and side to side and started working my way around the flower bed.

Even only having about 1/3 of the way done, is a whole lot better than the old scalloped blocks.  It has been really cold and rainy this week, so no new blocks yet.

So much to do and so little time!!!
