We have two coats of stain on all the cases for Lisa's lockers. These are the locker cases. 62 inches tall, 21.5 inches wide and 12 inches deep. Used a gel stain, mahogany color. The gel is really nice to use and very forgiving. If I ended up with some blotches from not rubbing it out good enough, just had to add more stain, that seems to activate the other stuff and then wipe it out.
Last night I was able to get most of the bottom frame done. Because the lockers will be 151+ inches long once all seven are put together, I am doing the base in two parts. Once I get everything to Idaho, I will put the two base parts together.
Need to get the end panels cut and stained, then the face frame boards cut, sized and stain and crown moulding stained and ready to go. We are getting pretty close for the big install. It will be so fun to see how they all look once put together.
