Monday and Tuesday, June 4 and 5, installed doors on the Entertainment Center at Cristal and Mike's. Had some face frames to finish putting on as well. Did the bottom base board trim and got everything done on the EC except the doors for the computer cabinet. Needed to have some extra parts for the hardware to hang the doors, but did not know that until I opened the box with the hardware. Another trip!!!
Built doors for the case where the drawers are, but did not take into account the drawer slides, so the hinges match right up to the drawer slides. Change of plans. Going to build drawer fronts to match the doors so each drawer can be opened up individually instead of having to open both doors to get a drawer opened.
Flexibility, that's what I call it.
In the picture you can see the new hand railings that Mike installed since we started this project. The wrought iron ballisters have baskets in them. We found handles for the doors that match the baskets in the ballisters.
