Spent a few hours in the shop on Saturday hooking up tools to the dust collection system.
The biggest dust producer is the table saw. Have a blade guard installed on top of the blade with a hose to suck up the dust. There is also a hose at the side of the table saw, below the blade and they both meet together in this box to the right of the table saw. At that point I have a "Y" joint to come together into one line and that hose connects above to the main line.
Then worked on a branch off the left side that goes over to where the planer and bed/belt sander are. Those two tools are on wheels so I can move them around if I have really long pieces of wood going through. I ran a line to the left and a drop down hose with a quick connect that hooks up the planer and the sander.
The next tool to hook up is the router table. Slowly but surely we are hooking things up. Woo hoo!!
Lady, you are having WAY too much fun. I won't even show this to Chuck or he will be so jealous!! (And I don't want to give him any ideas.)
